GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Today, Rep. Hillary Scholten (MI-03) announced five clean energy investments for West Michigan businesses through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Loans and Grants program totaling nearly $1.3 million. The funding will support sustainability projects throughout Ottawa and Kent Counties.

Hillary Scholten (D-MI-03) and Rudy Yakym (R-IN-02) today introduced the bipartisan Junior Duck Stamp Reauthorization Act– legislation to reauthorize the Junior Duck Stamp Program. The Junior Duck Stamp Program is an art and science-based curriculum that teaches wetland and waterfowl conservation to students from kindergarten through high school.
