WASHINGTON –  The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved Muskegon County Airport’s (MKG) request to terminate their Essential Air Service (EAS) provider contract with Southern Airways Express. Now, the airport can begin a new EAS contract with the unanimously agreed-upon servicer, Denver Air Connection.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representative Hillary Scholten (MI-03) announced two West Michigan projects will be receiving federal investments from the Department of Energy’s Office Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains. Grand Rapids Rapid-Line Inc. will receive $248,282 to install a solar photovoltaic system and implement compressed air measures. LightCorp in Grand Haven was awarded $262,600 to remove skylights and upgrade its roof insulation.
