If you can't get an answer from a federal agency in a timely fashion, or if you feel you have been treated unfairly, our office may be able to help resolve a problem or get you the information you need.

Internships

Congresswoman Hillary Scholten is looking for highly motivated and driven interns for Fall 2026. Opportunities are available for both her Washington D.C. office and her district office in Grand Rapids. To apply please submit your resume, cover letter, and two references in one PDF to MI03Internships@mail.house.gov. The subject line must include your full name and which office you are interested in for your application to be considered (ex: John Doe District Office OR Jane Doe Washington D.C.).

The White House
Tours and Tickets
All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please submit your tour request below as early as possible. Our office can assist in scheduling tours of the White House, FBI, U.S. Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Obtaining a White House and FBI tour can be very difficult, particularly during the Spring and Summer months. Availability is limited and can be subject to cancelation for official events. Please read the guidelines below for your application to be considered:
