WASHINGTON, DC—This week, U.S. Congresswoman Hillary Scholten (MI-03) introduced a resolution to commemorate May 24th as the National Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Day and recognize essential airport workers.

Today, Representatives Hillary Scholten (D-MI), Veronica Escobar (D-TX), Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL), Kathy Manning (D-NC), Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon (R-PR), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (R-OR) and Mike Lawler (R-NY), announced the Dignity Act of 2023, a historic, bipartisan immigration reform bill.

WASHINGTON, DC– Today, U.S. Rep. Hillary Scholten (MI-03) voted against H.R. 2, the House Republicans’ extreme immigration bill. While Republicans continue to put forward counterproductive legislation that will not address this urgent, ongoing problem, Rep. Scholten is urging bipartisan action.
