SPARTA, MI – Congresswoman Hillary Scholten (MI-03) was joined by local farmers, representatives of the ITI Institute, the Michigan Farm Bureau, and leaders in artificial intelligence for a tour of Schweitzer Orchards. The orchard utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) for apple sorting. Michigan is the nation’s third-largest producer of apples and AI helps farmers efficiently deal with the crop’s abundance.
