WASHINGTON D.C. - Today, U.S. Representative Hillary Scholten announced the introduction of her Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Workforce Innovation Act, legislation to strengthen the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. SBIR and STTR, otherwise known as America’s Seed Fund, are programs that provide federal grants to small businesses to help them conduct research and development that is useful to the U.S. government.
