The discussion took place on a panel hosted by World Relief, a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. The DIGNITY Act, endorsed by the Problem Solvers Caucus, is one of the first meaningful, bipartisan bills to reform the United States’ broken immigration system.
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Today, U.S. Representative Hillary Scholten (MI-03) announced an $11.7M federal investment for the City of Ferrysburg’s “Smith’s Bayou Bridge” through the DOT’s Federal Highway Administration. The bridge has been closed since the city council voted to close it in 2019 due to safety concerns.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representative Hillary Scholten (MI-03) announced two West Michigan projects will be receiving federal investments from the Department of Energy’s Office Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains. Grand Rapids Rapid-Line Inc. will receive $248,282 to install a solar photovoltaic system and implement compressed air measures. LightCorp in Grand Haven was awarded $262,600 to remove skylights and upgrade its roof insulation.
