Congresswoman Scholten Condemns Anti-Semitism and Death Threats in the Wake of Threats to Attorney General Dana Nessel

WASHINGTON, DC–Congresswoman Hillary Scholten stands in solidarity with Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel after an American man was arrested last week on charges of threatening Jewish elected officials.

“Antisemitism and death threats against elected officials are absolutely reprehensible. The rise of political violence has become far too common—it’s a threat to her, all other elected officials across the country, and our democracy,” said Congresswoman Hillary Scholten. “I stand in solidarity with Dana Nessel, and so many other leaders—particularly women—who live with intimidation and fear every single day. We won’t back down.”
