WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Hillary Scholten (MI-03) welcomed Mr. Bob Taylor, owner and chief executive officer of Alliant Healthcare based in Grand Rapids, to testify before the House Small Business Committee Subcommittee on Contracting and Infrastructure, of which she is the Ranking Member.
Alliant Healthcare is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business that provides high-quality, affordable medical device products to the VA and military hospitals. Mr. Taylor testified as part of the Subcommittee’s hearing on leveling the playing field for small businesses in the contracting space.

“Mr. Taylor served our nation in the Air Force and continues to serve our community by making sure VA and military hospital patients have access to the cutting-edge technologies and care they need,” said Rep. Scholten. “It’s businesses like these that bring new ideas to the table, and in turn generate new jobs, new solutions, and secure our industrial base. We must take steps to ensure small businesses can thrive and navigate the federal marketplace, and I want to thank Mr. Taylor and my colleagues for participating in this important hearing.”
